Andrew Mercier: fighting to protect families in Langley-Willowbrook

Andrew Mercer is no stranger to standing up for people. As a labour lawyer, former legal counsel for Teamsters Local No. 213, and the former Executive Director of the BC Building Trades, he has spent his career fighting for, and delivering results for, working people.

He was first elected as MLA for Langley in 2020, and in government, he served as the Minister of State for Sustainable Forestry Innovation. In 2026, he assumed the role of Chief of Staff to Premier David Eby.

He is running again because where the BC Conservatives would roll over for Trump while our economy is under external threat, David Eby and the BC NDP have a plan to stand up for British Columbians, protect the services that families rely on, and build for the future.

The plan is working. And we can’t stop now.
